TV licence
When you select a TV licence from Glide, we order a colour TV licence for you and your property.
When do you need a TV licence?
You need a licence if you watch or record television as it's being broadcast. This includes the use of devices such as a computer, laptop, mobile phone, DVD recorder, video recorder, BBC iPlayer, digital box or games consoles.
If there's a joint tenancy agreement for your whole house, you only need one licence. If you have a separate tenancy agreement for your room, any TV licence through Glide will only cover the communal areas in your home. If you have a television in your own room, you'll need an additional licence.
Pricing
The amount we charge you for our TV licence service is the cost of the television licence (currently £145.50) and from £2.89 inclusive of VAT per property per month.
TV licence number
We will provide you with your TV licence number by email and you can view it at any time through your online portal.
