Glide moves to WLR3

Glide moves to WLR3

published on 01/03/2008

Glide Utilities Ltd have become one of the first communications providers in England to have completed the WLR3 establishment process and go to "business as usual". This is an enormous triumph for the Birmingham-based communications provider.

WLR3 has obvious advantages for Glide itself, namely direct and instant access to BT Openreach’s back office systems and processes, enabling them to pre-qualify orders, transfer and provision lines, directly book, cancel and rebook appointments with Openreach engineers, and much more. This is all done in real time via a single interface without daily forecasting restrictions. For the first time, Glide can now offer a much better and personalised service than BT.

The benefits carry right through to our end-users. Sandeep Krishan, COO, commented: “Our investment in WLR3 allows us to raise the standard in terms of service delivery. The improvements are felt right through the business from a streamlined and faster order process to ultimately exceeding our end-user customers' expectations.”

James Villarreal, CEO at Glide remarked: “Being at the forefront of WLR3 gives us yet a further competitive edge, which is why our larger clients choose to work with Glide, and why we are, and will continue to be, the leading utility provider for rented accommodation."
