: Who are Glide?
Glide is a private utility company that provides energy and telecommunications to tenants, landlords, letting agents and property developers in the UK. Glide was founded by Sandeep Krishan and James Villarreal in early 2006.

In May 2007 Glide raised capital funding through a mixture of private investors and venture capitalists to enable it to roll out its services nationally.
: Why are you called Glide?
We believe that shared living should be fun and one of the best times of your life. We help you to “glide” through sorting out your bills and we make your lives as straightforward as possible.
: What do I get from Glide?
Everything you need for your shared home! Gas, Electricity, Water, Broadband, Telephone, TV Licence all in one simple bill.
: Which Glide services are right for me?
You can take as many or as few services as you'd like. However to get the best possible experience in your house, we'd recommend taking them all.
: What do I need to get Glide?
- Meter readings on your start date
- If you don't get a a telephone line through us, you will need a BT line for broadband

: Can I get Glide?
In almost all cases, the answer is yes. If we can't provide you with a service, we will let you know after you have placed the order.
: How soon after I've signed up for Glide can I use the service?
We will only process your order once all your housemates have signed up. You can see which housemates have signed up in your online portal.
Gas and electricity will take 3 to 5 weeks to transfer over to us. Water and TV Licences will be managed from the start date specified during the sign-up process. Telephone lines usually take 7 to 10 working days to be installed. In the majority of cases we can activate your broadband on the same day. However occasionally it will take an additional 5 working days.
: Is the online portal secure?
Yes. Access to your online portal is through a secure username and password that you choose. To increase security, we would recommend that you choose passwords with both letters and numbers, ensure that you password is kept safe and that it isn't possible for anyone else to guess it.
: How secure is your online order form?
Glide’s online order forms and the online portal use industry-standard SSL encryption to ensure that the data you enter cannot be intercepted on its way to our web-server. From there, it is immediately transferred securely to our database servers, which are configured and managed to maintain the highest security. This means that you can be confident that the information you enter (including credit card details) will be safe.
In the latest browsers, you should see the address bar go green which indicates that you are securely connected. In other browsers, you should see the the padlock icon.
: Can I order any other way other than online?
You can sign up online or over the telephone. Our online ordering process is fast and simple. During the sign-up process, you will need to accept our terms and conditions and payment terms.
: How long is the Glide contract?
You get to choose the contract length when you sign up. You can choose from 6 months to 36 months. At the end of your contract, you can easily extend your contract through your online portal or by calling us on 08448 111 555.
